Say Less exists because the problem was lived, not researched.

I started in hospitality at 14, an intense passion that began when I was just 7 years old.

By 20, I was managing a 200+ seat venue. By 23, I was running one of Sydney's highest-volume restaurants.

Every role. Every shift. Through Blood, Sweat & Tears

Barista, waiter, bartender, chef, events, catering, hotels, kiosks, and management. I did not start with theory or a pitch. I started with broken handovers, duplicated spreadsheets, missed training, and managers spending hours rebuilding information every day.

The Real Problem.

I watched managers lose 30% of their week to admin, chasing inductions, fixing handovers, repeating the same briefings. Not because they were not capable, but because the tools were broken. Spreadsheets. WhatsApp groups. Paper checklists. Nothing talked to anything else.

Why Now?

Hospitality is getting squeezed from every angle: higher wages, tighter margins, constant turnover, and more compliance. Venues have bought more tools, but daily ops still break because nothing holds the execution layer together.

Why It Works.

Unlike traditional hospitality software founded by technologists or consultants, Say Less was designed by a restaurant manager who understood exactly how operational chaos shows up day to day, and how little tolerance venues have for friction, training overhead, or complexity.

The prototype was deployed live in a high volume venue in Sydney and adopted organically by managers. Workflows were refined through real usage, peak periods, staff turnover, and reporting cycles.
